This rug is beautiful ! It is a heavy well made rug. The backing is a soft smooth cotton so you will need a rug pad. On the tag it says spot clean only, but the website says washable in front loading machine . We just received it so haven’t washed it yet so really don’t know how it will wash up. It lays nice and flat and looks amazing . Will buy more depending on how it washes up.
