This section applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy when we receive personal information from Amazon to fulfill orders placed on Amazon’s marketplace, and when we use Amazon’s Selling Partner API and Amazon Advertising API for internal performance analytics.
When you place an order with us on Amazon, Amazon provides us with information necessary to fulfill that order, which may include your name, shipping address, phone number, email address, the items you purchased, quantities, gift messages where applicable, and order identifiers. We also receive aggregated, non-personal sales and traffic reports for our own internal performance measurement.
We use information received from Amazon only to:
We do not use Amazon information for marketing, retargeting, or advertising on our own websites or any third-party platform. We do not share Amazon information with marketing, advertising, or analytics vendors. We do not sell Amazon information.
The only operational data flows for Amazon information are: (a) order data is stored in our internal ERP (Odoo, hosted on Odoo SH) for order management and fulfillment; and (b) the recipient name and shipping address for the specific order being shipped are provided to the corresponding shipping carrier (FedEx, UPS, or USPS) solely to deliver that customer’s package.
Amazon order PII (recipient name, shipping address, phone, email) is retained for up to 30 days after order fulfillment and then purged or redacted, except where extended retention is required by law or to resolve a dispute. Non-personal transaction records are retained for tax and accounting purposes as described in Section 9.
Amazon information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and at rest in our ERP using managed encryption (AES-256 class). Operational state on our on-premises fulfillment server is held on full-disk-encrypted volumes. Application secrets are stored in a dedicated, access-controlled keychain. Access to Amazon information is restricted to named, authorized Well Woven staff on a need-to-know basis, with multi-factor authentication required on all administrative systems.
If we become aware of a security incident involving Amazon information, we will notify Amazon’s security team at security@amazon.com within 24 hours of detection in accordance with the Amazon Services API Data Protection Policy, and notify affected individuals and regulators as required by law.
For questions or requests related to information we receive from Amazon, contact our Incident Management Point of Contact at adem@wellwoven.com.
