“The colours we’re drawn to can reflect our memories, our moods, our hopes, and even the way we see ourselves.”
Claire Desjardins paints the way good days feel: overlapping bursts of colour, loose movement, and the small unexpected delights that show up when you stop waiting for a special occasion to enjoy yourself. “For me,” she says, “painting is less about following a plan and more about staying open to discovery” — layer by layer, colour finds its place and unexpected combinations appear.
For the first time, some of those compositions are leaving the wall. We worked with Claire to keep the colour relationships and energy of her originals intact, then built them into pieces that can be lived with every day: low to the floor and easy to clean.

The collection will be offered in 3'3" x 5', 5'3" x 7'3", 7'10" x 9'10", and 9'10" x 13'. Each product page will show the sizes available for that design when it's ready.
Don’t Overthink is bold, deep blue, and gestural. Colour can shift from screen to screen; use the product photography and close-up detail views to understand the palette, texture, and scale before choosing.
The rugs are translations, not flat reproductions. The goal is to keep the feeling of the original paintings: the colour relationships, the movement, the open space, and the sense of a human hand.
Vacuum regularly and rotate the rug occasionally so it wears evenly over time. For spills, blot right away with a clean cloth and spot clean with mild household detergent and water when needed.
Orders over $99 ship free via ground in the continental U.S. Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and international shipping are calculated at checkout; delivery timing is shown there too.
No-hassle returns within 14 days under Well Woven's return policy. Outbound shipping is free; return shipping is the customer's responsibility, except on size exchanges, where Well Woven covers it.
A rug pad is recommended. It helps the rug stay in place, adds cushion, protects the floor, and helps the rug wear more evenly over time.
